Delivery information and return policy

At MayDreamWorld , we make every effort to ensure your order is delivered in the best possible condition, safely, and within a reasonable timeframe. Purchasing a bed is an important decision, and we want your experience with us to be as seamless and stress-free as possible.

Delivery

MayDream BV delivers its beds, furniture, and accessories to Belgium and all European Union countries. For Belgium, France, and the Netherlands, delivery costs are €49 per bed. For other European Union countries, delivery costs are €79 per bed. Accessories and decorative items are not included in this flat rate: their delivery costs are calculated automatically at checkout, based on weight, total amount, and destination.

These costs will appear clearly before validation of the order and are likely to change in the future depending on the rates charged by our logistics partners or economic conditions.

Delivery times depend on product availability, destination, and logistics capacity. Dates provided are always provided as a guideline and cannot be guaranteed. Orders are shipped as soon as reasonably possible, and you will be notified when your product is ready for shipment.

Delays may occur for reasons beyond our control, including customs checks, strikes, extreme weather conditions, or exceptional events. In such cases, MayDream BV cannot be held liable.

Returns and Refunds

Our beds are carefully compressed and vacuum-packed to ensure perfect hygiene. For this reason, and in accordance with Article 16(e) of Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights and Article VI.53 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, the right of withdrawal does not apply once these products have been opened.

In practice, if the product remains sealed and intact in its vacuum packaging, the right of withdrawal may apply. Once a product is opened or unsealed, even partially, no returns or refunds will be possible, except in the case of a proven manufacturing defect. This rule exists to protect the health, safety, and trust of all our customers.

Accessories and decorative items (pillowcases, covers, cushions, decorations, etc.) can be returned within a legal period of fourteen (14) days following receipt, provided that they are new, unused, unwashed, kept in their original packaging intact and returned in perfect condition. Return costs are entirely the responsibility of the customer. For added security, we recommend choosing tracked and insured shipping. If a returned product is incomplete, damaged or soiled, it may be refused or subject to a partial refund at the discretion of MayDream BV.

Legal guarantee and exclusions

All our products benefit from a two (2) year legal guarantee of conformity, in accordance with Belgian and European legislation. This guarantee applies only to manufacturing or conformity defects existing at the time of delivery.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of materials, gradual loss of firmness, settling, or discoloration. It also does not cover improper or abusive use, such as jumping on the bed, standing on it, or any professional or commercial use. Lack of maintenance, neglect, accidental damage, stains, moisture, mold, odors, burns, and any modifications made by the customer are also excluded. Similarly, improper storage or opening, such as opening the vacuum sealer without immediate installation, is not covered.

Before any replacement or repair, MayDream BV may require precise photographs and/or the return of the defective product for inspection. The warranty is strictly limited to the repair or replacement of the product in question. No other costs or indirect damages, such as transport, delivery or loss of use, will be covered.

Products damaged or defective upon receipt

If an item is delivered damaged or defective, it is imperative that you notify us within a maximum of forty-eight (48) hours of delivery. The request must be accompanied by clear and precise photographic evidence. Each file is examined individually. If confirmed, MayDream BV will offer a replacement or refund appropriate to the situation. After this period, no claims relating to damage noted upon delivery will be accepted.
